In May we held our first meet and greet type event at a local Italian ice truck. We are looking forward to more events in the future!

The Diabetes Research Institute is an organization that is focused on one mission: CURE DIABETES. Their team of researchers are conducting ongoing studies to find a cure for diabetes while also tackling the other obstacles that may stand in the way of a cure.

We want to be as transparent as possible with our community: Type One Kids is not a registered nonprofit...YET. This process is lengthy and costly, but we are actively pursuing this official distinction.
We are currently trying to raise the necessary funds to complete the process.
